Now back to NaNoWriMo. I have less than 2,000 words to go and I plan to get to 50,000 before I go to bed. Turkey chili’s in the crock pot (you’ll get the irony in that when you read my gift post) so I don’t have to spend much time in the kitchen this afternoon.

Although I couldn’t participate in the link-up, good luck to those who will join the link-up. I don’t have bad gifts before. I could remember that I have received a towel with a wonderful name stitch on it. But my name was spelled wrong so I guess it wasn’t really my style. But the thought of giving seems to count. Thanks for the wonderful post.

The worst gift I’ve gotten? Oh, nothing terrible, but just… weird. My MIL got me a nut grinder for last year’s Christmas, when I had a terrible miscarriage and was super depressed. A nut grinder… lots of feelings there, right? Not sure where the heck she got the idea that we grind so many nuts. And we have a Cuisinart, for goodness sakes! We don’t need to grind nuts by hand.
As for the worst gift I’ve given… probably some silly homemade thing that I thought would turn out better than it did!
