Well, yesterday I hit a new decade.
40.
40?
40!
Wow, how did that happen? So many times, I still feel like a kid.
Like just yesterday, I was in high school trying to survive.
Time moves too fast! And yet, some days seem to last forever… but that’s a post for another day.
So in honour of my new number (and inspired by Gfunkified) I’m giving you my life in numbers.
40, my current age
1996, the year I graduated Univesity
0, the number of classes I failed in University
10.5, the number of years I’ve been married
29, the age I got married
2, the number of children I have
4, the number of times I have been pregnant
1, child delivered by c-section
1, successful VBAC!!
0, the number of animals we have
1+, the number of times I can be known to yell raise my voice at my girls on any given day :(
100+, the number of times I tell my girls I love them on any given day
100+, times I tickle and grab cuddles when I can from my girls.
11, countries I’ve traveled to
1, country I really want to visit
2, the maximum number of coffees I allow myself on a day, even if it is a bad day
4, things always left on my to-do list no matter how hard I try to bang off a task
7, days a week I look at my family and am thankful I am where I am.
So, what are some of your numbers?

Happy belated Birthday!! I hope you enjoyed the weekend and celebrated in high style! Welcome to the 40s! Personally, I think they are pretty great! xoxoxo

Thanks Amy. It was an eventful weekend. We flew back from an amazing adventure in Costa Rica. I ended up doing 3 loads of laundry on my birthday. On the bright side, it is all done!

I love this, and I hope you were celebrated yesterday!! Which country do you still want to visit? You’re doing much better than I am, to only yell once some days! Yay for successful VBACS (I wasn’t really given that option. Sigh.)!!

I might’ve stretched the truth on the “yelling” part, but I do *try* to keep in to a minimum.
VBAC was awesome and I was lucky to be able to do it. Lauren was a model birth. I, however, was crazy in labour.
I’d love to get to Ireland.
Happy 40th! I love your numbers–very sweet.
Thanks April!
happy happy 40th! I never would have guessed 40 you spring chicken you. What’s in a number anyways? You make it look darn good.
