Feeling refreshed after a week of unplugged! I may have to do this more frequently.
Before I left, I packed some wool, my crochet hook, and this really cute and simple pattern. I’m so happy to be crocheting, after I had JBird, I thought I’d never find time again.
At night, after the girls were tucked away, I was able to work on this poncho.
Bird loves her “princess shawl”.
Give a try, it’s simple. I’d say it is a beginner pattern and have provided a printable version below which include the author’s and my notes.
What are you working on?

That is super cute!
that looks great. I should try to make it for my two year. she would love it! thanks for the pattern!
It’s a really good one for beginners. Try it out and let me know how it goes!
What size is this pattern for with chain of 88?
Linda, there is no real “gauge” or size, that’s the beauty of this pattern.
However, when I did a chain of 88, I just made sure it went over my daughter’s head and rested where I wanted it on her shoulders. At the time, her head measure ~ 53 cm.
Hope that helps.
